Guiding Principles for Approaches to the Capacity and Preparatory Review and the Educational Effectiveness Review

As UCSD moves forward from the proposal stage of the accreditation process into the Capacity and Preparatory Review (C&PR) and Educational Effectiveness (EE) stages, we will intensify the involvement of faculty, students, administration, and staff.   The nature of the four themes makes this participation not only desirable, but necessary because three of the four themes focus on the assessment and improvement of ongoing activities in our educational system.   Therefore, all groups involved in these activities will likewise be involved in the accreditation process. Details are described below.
